We began to research voice actors around Dublin that could potentially voice our scripts. I began to look up free voice actors which wasn't very successful, so i looked on fiverr.com. Look at You / video installation / Museum of Contemporary Art Vojvodina from Bojana S. Knezevic on Vimeo . I liked this one as it reminded me of the eerie feel for in-between accounts. It also has good use of video and how it switches between each video that you're drawn to the main screen but then go on to the smaller tvs. I feel like we could use something like this easily.

It talks about video and audio in a museum aspect. I found this interesting and informative. It is a bit long but it was full of an in dept look at the use of certain aspects and why we use them. Taking into account museum examples. Talks about how you should portray them to the viewer and what they are looking for.  -Aidan

Stephen I was a boarder in St Peter's in the 1970s and alleged sexual,abuse by Sean Fortune who was a seminarian there at the time. I was 13 years old when it started. Inappropriate touching and explicit conversations led to oral sex and masturbation and eventually , after 3 or 4 months, to full and violent rape . The first such rape time occurred in a shower cubicle in St Peter's and subsequently five or six incidents occurred in a bedroom in the College. Sean Fortune made me swear on a bible not to tell anyone and warned me that if I did, I would be expelled from St Peter's which would cause great hurt to my parents. Close to the end of the school year, I told the principal of St Peter's of the abuse. The school Principal reacted angrily to what I said and refused to believe me, telling me that Sean Fortune was going to be a good priest and that if I persisted in saying those things about him, I would be thrown out of the college.  I dreaded going back to the ...

The Virtual Barbershop The classic 3D audio piece that was created almost 12 years ago that is still effective in giving many people goosebumps today. Janet Cardiff and the Forty Part Motet This sound installation by Janet Cardiff uses 40 speakers in unison, each producing a different singers voice. "Hear New York City in 3D Audio" - Binaural Sound This video looks at the art of Binaural audio, referencing works such as The Virtual Barbershop. 8D Audio 8D Audio is audio that when listened to with headphones gives us the sense that the audio is coming from different directions, up, down and from different distances. Examples of 8D Audio - Woman Like Me - Little Mix Arms Around You -Lil Pump She Cheated Again - Dax These examples are the best to use for 8D Audio as it allows you to hear most layers of the music and also shows the effect it has on the song. It makes you think it's coming from around you like the Virtual Barber Shop.
