Group Projects

We worked in the studio to finish our audio completely, we worked together on Chris’ laptop in audition to edit the files together. We used the audio clips we recorded in the studio and on the zoom mic with the voices from other students, and the voice actor we sourced called Liam Quigley. We had over 10 minutes of audio recordings, which we then cut down to the parts we found best fitted. We also used audio effects and additional sounds such as the church angelus and hymns.

Demo Video 2 - This video is another possible version of the final product for our project. Images shown in this clip will be taken for the final product. We finished recording the main audio piece for our project yesterday with the help of our fellow students. They were kind enough to agree to be recorded and photographed. We also got our script and recording back from the professional voice actor Liam Quigley. Pictured top to bottom - Robyn, Adam, Chloe, Eoin, Chris and Niamh. Leah was in contact with Liam Quigley.

Fr. Sean Fortune Stephen - 13yo when abuse started I  was a boarder in St Peter's in the 1970s and alleged sexual, abuse by Sean Fortune who was a seminarian there at the time. I was 13 years old when it started. Inappropriate touching and explicit conversations led to oral  sex and masturbation and eventually , after 3 or 4 months, to full and violent  rape . The first  such rape  time occurred in a shower cubicle in St Peter's and subsequently five or six incidents occurred in a bedroom in the College. Sean Fortune made me swear on a bible not to tell anyone and warned me that if I did, I would be expelled from St Peter's which would cause great hurt to my parents. Close to the end of the school year, I told the principal of St Peter's of the abuse.
